Every smart home gadget in the market today can be controlled with the help of an app. The advent of smart phones and other smart mobile devices have made this even easier and seamless. The smart phone switches are no doubt an amazing concept for turning wide varieties of things on or off instantly. But it can often labor intensive and confusing as well. How about using the gesture motions to enjoy the control over your entire house? Sounds interesting, isn’t it?
What do you know about the new gadget?
An Israeli startup company has designed a gesture control device to have control over all the connected devices in the house. The device is known as OneCue. It has been designed and developed in a manner that it is capable of recognizing the gestures and allowing the control over the connected gadgets inside the house. It is not a sci-fi movie script, but a reality that has already taken place. Tom Cruise’s famous movie, Minority Report has shown the gesture control devices.
Use different gestures to execute variable actions
OneCue has been designed and created in order to have control over audio visual equipments like television sets, set top boxes, media players, game consoles and so on. It is also equipped to work with home automation devices like Philips Hue and nest. One of the striking aspects of this IoT based device is that it can be mounted on a flat screen TV or can also be positioned free standing on a shelf or a cabinet. You can switch on the gadgets connected to OneCue just with the simple waving of your hands. Particular gestures need to be used to control the devices.
